Jyodo Tune-Up with Karl Geis
I had anticipated an overhaul, just because Karl sees so much detail. I was really happy to see our game isn't off by much. The main theme is extension of the jo, maintaining a pushing action toward uke. This seemed to be most obvious with honte uchi & gyakute uchi. The pushing action from kaeshi zuki, in my opinion, most easily demonstrates the proper pushing idea.
I like the maki otoshi where the grip & arms stay exactly where they are, and the entire motion is articulated from the shoulders.
