For those grappling junkies interested there will be a seminar in Edmond at the Redline Jiujitsu school that is hosting Rickson Gracie's top black Belt who also runs his school in California. He is originally from Oklahoma and now resides in California. He will be here for the holidays and is doing a gi seminar on saturday after thanksgiving 1 to 4 pm and on sunday 1 to 4 pm for no gi.All are welcome and the price for the seminar is $65 per day....His name is Henry Akins and I will assure you that you will come out of this seminar with some excellent applications that are practical and effective....Hope to see you all there!!!

Henry calls what Rickson teaches as invisible jiujitsu."You can see it but until you feel it you won't understand".The seminar covered the basics but much like Rener did for us both at the Windsong and the following day's seminar he took the basics and made them magical. His understanding of body mechanics and application of techniques was very deep and most of us even the high ranking belts attending learned the basics and came away with ahaaa moments and a much improved grappling game.Attached is an interview that the ezine on the matt did with him recently.....hope you can enjoy...
