The "double handed" chokes
There has been entirely too little activity on this forum lately, and I need reading material while I'm rocking a newborn. Soooo....We've been going over Kyle's lovely shime waza series in morning class for a couple of weeks now, and we're gradually moving into a light grappling exercise where we move slow and look for opportunities to choke, trading back and forth, taking through it. We're discovering some nice things, but I can't help but notice that the three "two handed" chokes (nami juji jime, kata juji jime and gyaku juji jime) just don't seem to pop up as much as the others.
What's your experience with those? Do you find them, and if so, where? Thanks in advance for the help!
