Two chokes. One's a pretty nifty follow to a cross collar choke... the other's a variation of the hell strangle (I don't like it)

Edit: I was reviewing some of the Kosen videos today. They demo a rolling choke similar to the hell strange in this video. Their arm control is much better.

Why don't we have cool outfits like that? With pads? And shoes? And different colors?

The second choke (half nelson from turtle) looks a little dicey on uke's trachea (or is it just me?)

There's not a lot I like about that second choke, especially the way the Sambo guys did it ... you can get the arm, maye, maybe not... waht's the point of rolling to that choke if you're not taking away the guy's arms?
