By the way, there sure are some self-righteous, hateful reviewers out there... and I found it difficult to engage them without sounding self-righteous myself. Why do online discussions of aikido sometimes turn into holy wars?

I have read your book and for quite some time only used it as a reference for the releases and the first 10 so that I might get my brown belt. After you were kind enough to present me with my brown belt I read further and got to the 4 pages about spirituality in Aikido. I have to tell you that this chapter has done wonders for me and not just in my training. The view of incorporating Aikido concepts in all aspects of my life, I have not perfected it by any stretch, I have realized a peace that I did not know existed. Thank you for your hard work in training all of us, and thank you for lowering my blood pressure and making me realize that Aikido is far more than a martial art. It is truly a way of life. I am eternally thankful.

What I know about Aikido could fit in a thimble, but I just ordered the paperback version from Amazon.
