Neutral point of contact
Making the point of contact a neutral point of rotation is among other things a mechanism for establishing sensory deprivation....that's a key to being really concretely neutral...Not allowing the pressure gradient at the point of contact to change... Even as movement occurs and your center effects him... The target remains deprived of tactile feedback...even as he feels he is being moved, there is no obvious signal of what or how force is being transmitted...developing and internalizing this kind of responsive touch requires much sensitivity and dedication
