At clinic I was talking with Josh from Russellville. It's their turn to come to OKC for Judo playday.

We're thinking about trying something different: a starting time of 1PM. This allows us to have all our normal classes at Windsong, and it allows them time to drive to OKC without having to make it an overnight trip.

I want to see if anybody has suggestions for dates in late April or May.

I'm booked the very last weekend in May, but otherwise, I'm there.

Anybody else?

OK. I've e-mailed Josh asking him to avoid that date as well. Thanks for the heads up!

It looks like we're going to have to push Playday back until probably July. Josh is out of pocket much of May, and there's Memorial Day to deal with at the end of May. June has clinic in Houston. So... does anybody have anything going on the last half of July?

Too early for me to say, really.

I'd actually be down for this later time. I might actually get to make it... so that everyone can watch me stagger around and show my rusty technique.

OK gang. Look at the 2nd half of July & August and let's try to come up with a date!

We'll mark July 5th, 12th & 19th off the list.

Have we figured out a date yet?

Right now we're trying to figure out if there are conflicts for folks & eliminate those dates. July or August. I'm leaning toward July 26 or August 2nd.

We'll have to check to make sure we don't have any conflicts (such as Innerspace events) and that those dates are good with Russellville. Then we'll put the word out to folks at large. I talked with Tim Joe at clinic and he said he'd be interested in coming.

OK guys. Put it on your calendar for August 2nd. I think we'll list the "official" start time as 1PM, since that's when Aikido is wrapped up.

I'm glad we finally set a date. I'm looking forward to working with other people. It's always cool to see what the other schools are working on.

Thanks to everybody who showed up. Unfortunately, nobody from out of state made it. I'll try to get with Josh & see about September or November (October is typically Karl Geis Clinic in OKC).
