Judo Playday in Russelleville
Dan Martin and Crow Mountain Dojo will be hosting Judo playday on Saturday, July 8th.

For folks who aren't familiar with Judo playday, it's just a big get-together and play Judo all day. Lots of fun in a non-competitive environment.

We will leave Friday after work, typically around 5:30 or 6pm from the dojo. We grab a meal at McDonald's in Shawnee, a fuel stop & leg-stretch in Arkansas and arrive at the dojo typically around 10:30pm or so. We sleep at the dojo on the mat, so bring your sleeping bag & pillows.

Saturday morning we get up around 7am or so, and enjoy breakfast at Cracker Barrel. We return to the dojo, rest & digest for a bit, suit up, stretch out and start playing.

We break for lunch... well, when folks want to break for lunch. There isn't a firm tradition on lunch but the locals always know where the good food is. Lunch is optional for hardcore folks. We play once people are ready to start, and stop when folks have had enough.

We drive to Ft. Smith and enjoy dinner at Chili's, and arrive back at the dojo Saturday night around 10-11pm.

OK. Let me add an adendum to this. The trip is mainly for folks 18 & over, simply because of legal issues. If you are under 18 and wish to attend, you must have a parent or legal guardian present.
