Guard Pass Using Tori's Knee To Create Space
Oh no! We're trapped in the dreaded guard position! Don't worry. Keep your hands braced on uke's hips, and keep your nose south of his beltline. If you are north of the beltline it's a lot easier for uke to sit up, grab you, and lay back... bringing you back with him.

Keeping your brace, slide one knee over and place it in the crease of uke's buttocks:

Gently apply pressure with your elbow to the inside of uke's knee. The spot you're looking for is on the inside of the leg, slightly above the hinge point of the knee... say maybe the width of a fist. This can be quite painful, so don't go full-tilt-bozo with your partner. Take the leg all the way to the ground with steady, gentle pressure.

Slide your knee over uke's thigh. Well, don't actually slide it..... that's painful too. While maintaining control of uke's leg, make your closest knee the dominant controller by placing it over uke's thigh. Your shin should be resting on that tender inner-thigh meat from the previous step.

Keeping your center low, extract your other leg. Make sure you extract your trailing (in this case, left) leg before releasing the control you established above. Failing to do so may result in uke entagling your leg.

Finish coming around and enter your favorite osae-komi-waza. While this looks like mune-gatame, the technical folks will notice my legs are backward. This photo was a stopping point as I slid to kesa-gatame, which the video shows.
