Putting online video on your iPod

Here's some information from David Russell I wanted to pass along to all the iPod folks:

They have products that will convert DVD's, download and convert youtube videos and convert other videos (wmv, etc)

I bought a 300 gig IPOD and a 500 gig external drive. When I convert a DVD I have it store the external drive so I don't fill up my hard drive on my pc.

I manually move the movies to the IPOD as I wanted to be able to pick and choose which movies I wanted on the IPOD atthough the 300 gig IPOD will hold all of his DVD's.

I have also put all of Kyle's lessons on my IPOD using the conversion software. I right click on the link and download the video to the external drive and then use the software to convert the wmv file to mp4.

I really like the last lesson where Kyle talked us through the technique as I don't have the written explanation on the other videos.

You will need a good set of noise canceling headphones if you're going to use it on an airplane.
