Some neat kneeling control / BJJ stuff
Some of you know David Sipe. He's in town for a couple of weeks, and has that really nice grappling dummy hanging out in the corner.When I helped Dr. Cliff Norgaard with his seminar in McAllen, TX, a couple of months ago, I grappled with a BJJ guy from Brownsville. He was doing some pretty neat kneeling controls I hadn't seen before. Some elements of the controls are very slick.
David shared them with us tonight, spending an hour grappling. He did a great job teaching the kneeling controls, and has done some nice work integrating these with the envelope series. There's also a pretty slick choke that lives in the series.
If you get the chance, I really recommend getting with him (or someone who has seen it) and take a look at it.
