Ari's a pretty cool guy. His site's ok. He's got a background in traditional Jujutsu, baut has transitioned to BJJ, specifically Eddie Bravo's 10th Planet sytem. I don't like a lot of his throwing ideas. The self defense stuff is good, you'll recognize a lot of the same movements, though it's harder style than we'd use. The grappling stuff is all good stuff and he presents it very well. Overall, a good site.

I haven't even looked at his throwing stuff, but the grappling's not too bad. Some of it's a wee bit complex (lotsa steps) and some of it (like the rubber guard), well, I'm just not flexible enough to know if it's any good. 😄 Eddie's a charismatic teacher to watch too, for sure, and if a guy can keep a Gracie tied up, I guess he can't be all bad! He's also known for pushing drills whereas the rest of the BJJ world tends to just "go at it", which I appreciate. He's fond of saying, "The winner is the guy who's done it a thousand times," and you know, he might be on to something...
