I am interested to know how many dojos out actively include Goshin in their curriculum. I have made it a requirement for all new students. I find it to add dimension to my dojo and I challenge my existing students to find the Aikido in the Goshin Techniques.

Hi Kevin-- you might need to clairify-- there are a few different forms that all use the term goshin
generally goshin means self-defense
then we have goshin justsu kata from judo
then some folks refer to koryu dai san kata as goshin kata
then some tomiki systems teach a body of techniques called goshin -ho
-personally i like to study all of the above
