Any thoughts? Good, bad, ugly...?

My first thought is that it puts the wrist in a bind and out of line with your arm. Second thought is that you are trying to choke the guy without body control. But I haven't tried the actual technique so that's my $0.02.

It's a good idea, but seems like there's a lot of steps involved to get an okay choke. I've seen some videos where they do step-over choke, using the leg to get some leverage, and it comes on quicker.

It almost looks like the fellow being thrown is putting himself into an ude-garami (aka Kimura) type arm lock, just looking at the alignment of his arm and where the elbow is at 0:03 & 0:44. I haven't tried it, but there also seems to be some odd footwork involved as well.

Also, once tori attempts the throw and fails, he pretty much ceases all activity. Now, I don't know about y'all, but if I fail to throw the guy I'm not going to cease & desist.

Care to share them (if you can find them)?

I can, perhaps, be convinced to reproduce them.
